
There’s something truly magical about indulging in a bowl of fresh salad. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experiencet! Pick up some lettuce at Kalbas Farms stand and some tomatoes, too (when we have them in season). Any other salad veggie will also work.
Now for the dressing…
Use your favorite basalmic dressing. We like Ken’s SteakHouse brand. Lightly drizzle it over the salad. Then take your favorite bleu cheese dressing and thin it out with some heavy cream, half-n-half, or whole milk. Lightly drizzle it over the salad. Add some extra bleu cheese crumbles if you have them on hand or crumbled goat cheese works great, too. Top with fresh ground black pepper. ENJOY!
We also like to finish the salad with a generous amount of balsamic glaze drizzled over the top. You can find a bottle in the condiment aisle at almost any grocer.
